Begin at the program because a shared code can be general education in one plan, a foundation in another, or a major, option, clinical, practicum, or capstone elsewhere. Open the exact course to see all current mapped contexts. Move below that course only when its Week position has public support.
The catalog establishes public identity. The degree audit and Brightspace establish the registered plan. Reconcile both before scheduling, and preserve alternatives, prerequisites, and phase rules rather than treating the page order as a universal term sequence.
Control the registered quarter
Build one board from the audit, syllabus, Brightspace calendar, rubrics, announcements, gradebook, and any clinical or practicum system. Separate deliverables by type, work backward from exact due times, and reconcile after every result. Five-week work needs shorter checkpoints; specialized work needs its own professional calendar.
